Lee Kwun Sing (5E)
2001

Last summer, I visited a recently developed island near Lantau Island and enjoyed a wonderful time there.

I got there by ferry. Near the pier, there was a hotel. It was small, but the lobby was splendid, and the service was good. I settled my luggage and started my journey.

The first place I visited was "Folk and Culture Village'. There I learnt interesting customs. Then I went to Kwun Sing Temple, which had a history of one hundred years. Had the Island not been developed, the temple might not have been well-known.

Along the smooth path, I heard birds singing at times. I saw a beautiful lake beneath a hill with a waterfall falling from a great height. It was a magnificient view. Passing the hill, I heard the sound of waves and saw the most beautiful beach that I had ever seen. The sand was very fine and the water was so clear that I could see everything in the sea.

This beautiful land was populated by few people. To my astonishment, I saw a mysterious forest and I was told that some freaks lived inside. I thought that it was only a legend.

The forest gradually vanished in my sight and I took a rest in a garden. It became dark and I went to a restaurant to eat seafood. It was delicious! Finally, I went back to the hotel and had a nice dream!
