Dear John,

I am glad to receive your letter and learn that you will come to Hong Kong next much. Welcome to Hong Kong!

Hong Kong is now cool, but it will become warm soon. To prevent from getting a cold, you should bring suitable clothes. Above all, I will meet you at the airport the morning when you arrive in Hong Kong. Hoping to give you a wonderful journey, I have planned a route for you and see if you are satisfied with it.

When you arrive in Hong Kong, you will get tired and hungry. So I will take you to a Chinese restaurant to have a big meal. I know that you have never been to a Chinese restaurant, so this is a good chance for you to know more about Chinese culture. In the restaurant, you must eat dim sums with chopsticks. Dim sums are delicious and you will like them. Have you ever used chopsticks? If not, it will be a challenge for you.

After the meal, we will go shopping. Hong Kong is the shoppers' paradise. There are a variety of shops in Hong Kong and you can buy anything you like here, such as in Temple Street, Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui. All the goods are of good quality and reasonably priced. We will go by bus because taking a bus is a good way to go sightseeing in Hong Kong.

At night, after dinner, I will take you to the Peak, the highest spot on Hong Kong Island, to see the beautiful night view of Hong Kong, the scenery you will enjoy it. You will be very tired after that, so I will take you to my home. You will have a better understanding of local families. I hope you will enjoy the trip.

Looking forward to your arrival.

Best Wishes,
Chris
