Exam also a test of courage

Tsang Hin-on (5A)

Congratulations, if you get good results in the HKCEE. But if you fail, don't give up, because you have hope tomorrow. This was the advice of a disabled student who got good results.

Great! I agree with her, because the HKCEE results do not represent every thing. If we get poor marks in the exam, we should not be too disappointed. We must face the fact that we have not done well. We have to accept what has happened. It is reality.

Time is running fast. Next year, in 2000, I will be taking the HKCEE. I will be entering another stage in my life. But I already feel worried. I am afraid I will not get good results in the exam. I watched a TV news report on 10 August about students who cannot find a school to continue their studies. They looked very upset, and some were even crying.

The announcement of the HKCEE results made some students happy and some sad. But if you work hard enough before an exam, your results will not be bad.

"No pain, no gain." I believe in this aphorism. You cannot get something without making an effort.

On the other hand, if you work hard but your results are not good, you should still feel satisfied, because you tried your best. So in the end, the exam results may not be good, but you will never feel sorry.

In about five or six months, I will be taking the HKCEE. So I must work hard and widen my knowledge. I hope my preparations will get me satisfactory results.
