A lot of things are done to celebrate different Chinese festivals.Good luck flowers are bought and homes are decorated with red paper before Chinese New Year. Rice cakes are eaten and lion dances are performed.

At Mid-Autumn Festival, moon cakes are bought. Lanterns are lit and riddles are tied to the lanterns.

At Ching Ming Festival, flowers are bought to put on the graves. Joss sticks are burnt. Brooms are used to sweep the graves.
