Upcycling has become very popular in recent years. It benefits the environment by reducing waste, and it could also result in special products!

Designer Kevin Cheung has spent months searching for materials for his weekly free-of-charge upcycling workshops. Since 2009, he has taught children to make musical instruments from bottles, old furniture and even bicycle wheels! Kevin usually uses plastic or metal objects. These materials could become toxic and pollute our soil for hundreds of years.

However, not everyone understands. Some people think that Kevin is mean because he gives kids rubbish instead of brand new materials, but Kevin doesn’t mind. For him, it’s not just about the money.
