I am writing to express my opinion on the dieting trend. Today, more and more people are going on diets. There is also a trend for keeping fit. It is not only young girls who are concerned about their body shape and appearance, but also boys.

But have they ever thought about the problems of dieting at an early age? Firstly, if they go on a diet when they are still growing, eating too little will stunt their growth.

Also there is a high risk of getting anorexia, which is a disorder that makes people stop eating. This starts when people lose so much weight they seriously damage their health.

In my view, there are many ways to lose weight instead of dieting. Doing exercise is one of the ways. Exercising every day can keep your body fit and it can make you lose weight too. The other way is to eat healthily. Never give up eating. To avoid getting fat, one can eat less fatty food and desserts.
