I am writing to express my views about the Harbour Fest, which started on October 17. There has been a flood of complaints about the event, which is part of Hong Kong's post-Sars Relaunch Campaign.

I think the festival has failed to achieve what it orginally set out to do - boost the economy and bring in more tourists.

The audience have complained about poor arrangements and they also think it is unfair to give free tickets to the public. Besides, promotion has been poor.

I am a great fan of Westlife, but the festival has been a disappointment so I have decided not to go.

A poor show
